we’ll talk about the temperature range from today this morning to the mid-twenties. Yeah the record low was 21 we didn’t hit that record low actually only 25 degrees but it’s still freezing there had a hard freeze this morning today lower in the 60s, a very large temperature difference. Whenever the sun came out it warmed us up quite nicely throughout the area. Now we have calm conditions but maybe a few overtaking classes. But all in all a great evening settling in for much of the 61° area here in Jackson. It’s not so bad. As soon as the sun goes down, I expect cooler conditions as we enter this evening. The high pressure now here towards the Alabama meeting was on the west side of this high pressure, southerly winds will pick up as we enter overnight and into tomorrow. So it won’t be as cold as this morning, but we could be in our mid-thirties. So I’m expecting maybe a chance of frost, especially in our northern counties, but the threat of frost isn’t as great. You have to go further east for this threat of frost but again frost is likely as we leave for tomorrow morning. It’s on Monday, clouds will start to rise throughout the day as we watch for our next system which will cross the Great Plains and head southeast and there will be rain. If not, maybe a few thunderstorms to the south, I think we could get some thunder rumbles here in Jackson, but we haven’t seen a serious threat. Just more of a threat of rain as we wake up early for Tuesday once in a while, showers continue into the afternoon with a chance in the evening to stay in the forecast as well. So spells of rain as we come in for Tuesday now. The good news is not to expect horrible washout for some areas, but again for some areas it could actually be a pretty good amount of precipitation if you meddle with this trailing storm. I think the biggest threat is actually going to be a little further south but anyone could go anywhere from 1-2″ and maybe even higher amounts of locally still watching this But as we watch the system roll out of here, Tuesday into Wednesday it will get warmer as we go into Wednesday, especially Thursday into the 70s. And then yet another system will do its way and with it a weak cold front but ahead of it some showers and dropping our temperatures slightly into the 60s. Upper 60’s as we go in for Saturday. So for tonight it’s going to be cold out there. There’s going to be some places where it could be freezing well into the mid 30’s. Some morning clouds will start to make their way for tomorrow. The upper 60s, a much nicer and warmer day there, the clouds are rising again. Went in the evening with a shower or two later in the night, tomorrow night, cloudy conditions will arrive tomorrow night, less than 50, not as cold spells of rain. I think the heaviest will be in the morning with a few bands of these showers in the evening Tuesday, Wednesday through Thursday. Hey, Thursday ST Patrick’s Day in the seventies. Here comes Friday. This is our next system. It could be a little rain early in the morning on Friday, but overall the weather forecast isn’t that bad. Mm hm.
