The Rite Aid Foundation has awarded the Brightside Project a grant of $ 10,000 as part of its Giving Tuesday 2021 scholarship. The grant will help The Brightside Project in its outreach efforts with children in Columbiana County, including their Bright Easter programs. , Bright Christmas and Food for Kids.

The Brightside Project is one of some 500 partner charities across the country that have received a Giving Tuesday grant from the Rite Aid Foundation. Grants are funded by the KidCents Client Fundraising Program. Rite Aid customers registered with KidCents can consolidate their purchases in-store and online. The Rite Aid Foundation reinvests client contributions into local charities and missions to spur community change and support disadvantaged and underserved communities. This year’s total foundation allocation was $ 4.8 million.
